Virtual Learning Environments are very important additions to the teaching and learning process. They divert from a teacher centered approach to a more student centered, cooperative and collaborative approach, towards learning.
Virtual Learning Environments: Galloway, Boland & Benesova posits that “…it does not take a leap of faith to consider a future where virtual learning environments will have the potential to dominate or perhaps replace the traditional classroom, as we know it.” How much truth does this hold for the Belizean Context?
